For the last 4 years the club has been heavily involved in Cancer Research UK's Race for Life programme. Our key role in this is to help set up and layout the course across terrain that usually only a 4x4 can cope with, our involvement is two fold in that CRUK is a charity very close to the hearts of lots of members and also in volunteering our time and vehicles to them we can save the charity money as they often don't have to hire in a 4x4 for their events in our area.

Hi Matt,
I hope you're well. Apologies I didn't get in touch last week, I've finally enjoyed a little bit of time off to re-charge (or sleep a LOT). I wanted to say a massive THANK YOU to all of you for your help with the event at Kedleston Hall. I can't tell you enough how grateful I am and how much I admire the enthusiasm of you all. Its very kind of you to get involved and you all did an amazing job. Being my first year I really appreciated all your advice and support on the course! (Now slightly jealous of your Land Rover too!!)
Could you please pass on my huge thanks to the others too. Especially to poor Charlotte who really took the brunt with Saturdays weather! Thumbs up to her remaining so chirpy!
Here are a few pictures as a reminder of the event -http://www.capitalfm.com/eastmids/photos/street-photos/race-life-kedleston-hall-17th-july/
Big thanks again and I look forward to seeing you again,
Nicx
